Making our cars last longer

It is a new day and time.The economy is different.  With it, most Americans don’t have as much money to spend as before.In regards to the auto industry you are able to witness it.With the big three carmakers always losing money, you have proof that big items just aren’t being bought as much as before. 

With that in mind most Americans are going to be forced to keep their car longer.When you do keep your car much longer it will need more maintenance.  The better you can take care of your car the longer it will last.  So I would like to offer a couple of tips from my experience owning a San Diego auto repair company.

One of those things that can be so easily passed over is making sure your car runs clean. Why does this matter?Because you can’t keep your care running efficiently this could lead to the failure of the smog test.  If you fail a smog test you could be in for some expensive repairs.  I have seen this time and time again from doing San Diego smog check.

All you have to do is make sure you change the oil and oil filter regularly.Als be positive that it is tuned up for all the regular tune ups.

Second problem not looked after a lot is your brakes.You don’t really watch for it as much as you should.But all can agree that it is very important for the safety of all.But if you are unable to maintain it, this can lead to an expensive repair.  I should know having to charge my clients to replace their brakes at my San Diego brake shop.

Make certain that when you are using the brakes that you aren’t too hard on them. Be prepared for all your stops and then apply the brakes slowly.  Also make sure the brake fluids are enough.This can help you save a bunch of money in repairs.

Do these couple of items and you will see a lot money in reparis being saved.  When you have to keep your cars longer you will be glad you did.
