Plumbing problem most people experience

One of the problems that is most common that people have is getting a clogged toilet.There will be times when it is easy and all you will need is a plunger.  Other times it may require a plumber to come out and fix it.  But for most people I am going to share a few tips that will hopefully fix it so you won’t need a plumber.

Now these are some tricks I have picked up running my Temecula plumber business.But these are steps that most homeowners will be able to do.It doesn’t necessitate the use of expensive equipment.It won’t be necessary that you have extensive knowledge about plumbing to fix it.Just be able to understand instructions and you can do it yourself.

First thing you want to try is a plunger.Most everyone will own a plunger and you can use it to clear a lot of clogged toilets.  The most effective plungers have a fold out cup.That cup is what you are going to fit into the toilet trap.That is what causes the good suction.Then all you are going to need to do is use an even back and forth motion.This should be able to clear the toilet.

Next piece of equipment after a plunger is a toilet auger.  What it looks like is a J shaped tube and cable.  Sort of like a drain snake.  It is one of my most used tools for my Murrieta plumber service.You can get them at most of your hardware stores.  What you do is insert the end of the auger into the toilet.  Then you push the handle forward and crank it in a clockwise motion.This essentially clears any debris and will have the toilet unclogged.

These two tools should do the trick.But if it happens not to work you will have to call a good plumber anyways to come out.It costs more money than if you did it by yourself. But if you can’t do it, it is well worth it to get your plumbing fixed.  Because having a clogged toilet in the house is no fun.  Plus it creates a lot of problems.
