Doing a timeline is the best way to stay organized during a wedding photo shoot.A timeline gives you ample time to take those most important shots in a wedding.It will also enable one to capture great moments of the wedding.So with that in mind we are going to discuss some of the important things that a photographer should do before and during the wedding.

First thing a photographer should do is to determine when he/she could take the family portrait of the couple.  As a San Diego photographer I see that the timing of this is different for every wedding.Some people would like to pose for pictures before the wedding.This will allow them to avoid the hectic schedule during and after the wedding.Others prefer to do it during the wedding.You would perform better because you are more prepared if you just determine when the family would like to take the pictures.

Next important thing to know is the schedule of the start of the wedding.That would enable you to capture shots of the guests that are arriving.  As a San Diego wedding photographer this is a great time to capture candid shots of your guests.  You will also be able to get everything ready for the big ceremony.
